Guillaume Laurin is a Quebec actor, director and screenwriter whose versatility and artistic sensibility are equally at home on the big screen and stage. His films include Comme le feu (2024), Simple comme Sylvain (Un certain regard à Cannes, 2023), Le Plongeur (2023) and Respire (2022). In 2012, he co-founded the production company Couronne Nord with Patrice Laliberté and Julie Groleau. The company is behind Jusqu'au déclin (Netflix Original, 2020) and Very Nice Day (2022), in which Guillaume plays the lead role. The artist also directed several short films, including Intenselefun (2016), Nous n'avons bâti rien de sincère (2017) and Jojo (2020). He is currently working on his first feature film, Raqué, which plunges us into the world of urban snowboarding. On television, he played Nicolas Bellefleur in Bellefleur (Crave) and joined the cast of Veille sur moi (ICI Télé), Sorcières (TVA), La candidate (ICI Télé), Plan B (ICI Télé), Motel Paradis (Illico+), Le bœuf haché ou le tempeh (Noovo.ca), Bête noire (Séries Plus) and Fourchette (ICI tou.tv). On the theatrical scene, he shines in Philippe Boutin's event shows(Détruire, nous allons, Le vin herbé), as well as in the sold-out play Whitehorse, which he co-adapted and performed at Duceppe, and in Mr. Burns at Théâtre Prospéro.
